Lop Eared - Medium - Young - Female - Rabbit - Zephyr and Shadow
From their Foster Mom: The grey lop is Zephyr and the black one is Shadow. Zephyr is a sweetheart in love with Shadow even though she occasionally thwaps him around. Nothing too violent, she just gets a crazy look in her eyes and bops him on the head. Then he lowers his head and comes back for more sniggling. They were some young kid's pets who got dumped back at Petco (where they were originally purchased, so they are neutered/spayed). They came in a tiny (TINY) cage with cedar bedding and the cheapest pellets a couple of dollars will buy. I don't think they ever saw a veggie or a toy in their lives before they came to me, and they LOVE them! They also didn;t ever have a litterbox before (unless you count the cage they lived in, which was about the size of a litterbox), but you'd never know since their skills are the tidiest of all of my bunnies. They have simple tastes - fresh veggies, good hay, paper towel rolls, wicker toys, cardboard boxes, grass matts. Zephyr feels chincilla soft and I was so struck by how much he resembles my tokinese cats, which probably played some part in me taking them home in the first place. Shadow has beautiful soft shiny fur and her contours are highlighted by white, sort of an anti-shadow, which is where her admittedly not-too-creative name came from. She is the boss of the two for sure.
