I have two each handcrafted sling chairs. I personally made these chairs from rough cut oak. I planed, cut, sized and sanded the wood then applied two coats of marine varnish to provide a durable lasting finish. The chairs are assembled using stainless steel nuts and bolts that will not rust. The sling itself is made from polypro;ylene nylon cord with added UV stabilizers for outdoor use and is strong, durable and mildew resistant. The woven cord pattern lets your body breathe and will naturally stretch and conform to your body. The chairs rock slightly and are very comfortable. The are easily folded for storage or carrying along to the beach, camping, or just relaxing on your lanai. The two chairs are available in black and beige cord. These chairs will last and last. The chairs that I have for my own personal use are well over ten years old and still look like new.
